Currently working on 'Voice to Vision':

Voice
to Vision is a project that helps Holocaust survivors share their
experiences through art. It developed through the collaboration of the
Art Department and the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the
University of Minnesota. The first two sessions have involved five
survivors: Joe Grosnacht, Murray Brandys, Sabrina Zimering, Lucy Smith,
and Gina Kugler. They have been part of an interdisciplinary visual
research team that includes David Feinberg/Art Department), Dr. Stephen
Feinstein (Director, Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies),
undergraduate and graduate students, and professional artists. In 2005
the project was the subject of a PBS documentary that aired on the Twin
Cities Public Broadcasting station.

democracy and build community through the arts, activism, media, and
education.
We encourage the participation of as many members of
as many communities as possible, but especially those whose pursuits
are pro-democracy, pro-peace, queer friendly, anti-racist, anti-sexist,
and generally friendly.
You can visit the Belfry at 3753 Bloomington Avenue in the Powderhorn Neighborhood.
Our open hours are Tuesday- Friday 4pm- 8pm and Saturday 11am- 6pm.
