Jennifer Barnett-Hensel was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati and later went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005. She has exhibited nationally in various solo and group exhibitions, and has a continued involvement in community art projects and organizations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jennifer is currently residing in Memphis, Tennessee where she is pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at the Memphis College of Art.

I will have work in this annual group exhibition of Art and Poetry- followed by the HER MARK 2009 Publication. This year the jurors are: ART-Julie Rodrigues Widholm (associate curator for the Museum of Contemporary Art) and POETRY-Kathleen Kirk/Orick Peterson.
Opening Reception: August 1, 6-9pm / Release Party and Reading: August 3, 2-4pm
